Chad Cartier

Wealth Manager

Chad has vision of making sure that everyone he comes across professionally is getting truly what they need in regard to their retirement and financial planning needs. This is more than a job for Chad, it is a lifelong responsibility for him.

The foundation of Chad's practice was built on the need for truly objective advice, and creative financial options. His goal and objective for each client is to help them see and understand how all the moving parts of their finances work together, and how to get them to work together more cohesively and efficiently, potentially resulting in increase in cash flow and protection.

Chad's professional background started with his education at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor degree in Economics. Upon graduating in 2007, Chad began his career with Charter Oak Financial Services, an affiliated agency of Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company. After spending three years with Charter Oak, Chad took the leap in 2010 to become an independent advisor.

Chad's main areas of focus are on creating customized retirement investment and wealth protection strategies. He works primarily in consulting with pre-retirees and retirees to help them determine whether or not they are on the right course for retirement, where to make adjustments, and evaluate different paths. He also works with families who are looking to protect and transfer their wealth by leveraging different tools to preserve their legacy. Through his resources and ability to coordinate with other trusted advisors such as estate planning attorneys and accountants, he is able to provide often overlooked and non-typical wealth protection strategies. Overall, Chad's planning process often leads to allowing his clients to see things from a different point of view, creating flexibility and more well thought out options.
